The final stage is to create automated feedback for students. By preparing feedback in advance, you’ll enhance learning for thousands of students indefinitely. Learn more >>>

Stage 1: Creating

1. Select Type

We currently offer two main types of assignments to complement our video content:

a) Experiential Assignments

These are hands-on activities designed to engage students in direct, practical experiences related to the course material. For example, in a real estate course, students might complete a discounted cash flow (DCF) model for an investment scenario, analyze the returns, and reflect on how changing specific assumptions impacts the deal’s returns.

b) Problem Sets

These assignments allow students to practice applying quantitative concepts and analytical techniques. Problem sets ensure mastery of key concepts, such as the time value of money, and other important course-specific topics, like mortgage calculations.

Other

We encourage educators to discuss unique assignment ideas beyond experiential assignments and problem sets. If you have a different type of assignment that you believe would benefit students, we’d love to hear about it.

2. Design Your Assignment

Designing assignments is easy and fun. If you have an activity that works well for your students, let’s brainstorm how to convert it into a scalable assignment.

We’ll meet for 30-60 minutes on a Zoom call to convert your idea into a structured assignment outline. By the end of this meeting, you’ll have a clear plan for creating a scalable assignment, along with a list of tools and templates you can use.

3. Publish Assignment

Once you’ve created the assignment, share it with us to embed it in our platform. Within 24 hours of sharing the first version of your assignment, we’ll provide you with a link to the Blended Teaching platform where your assignment will be hosted. This is how students and educators will see your assignment. Your assignment will then be ready for Stage 2: Audit.

STAGE 2: AUDITING

Collaborate to ensure quality of your content.

MAKING BEAUTIFUL
MATERIALS WITH
US IS EASY

We have 2 methods for making beautiful content.

Quality Matters
The quality of your assignments reflects your personal brand as an Educational Content Creator. Assignments that lack relevant resources, have poorly written instructions, or contain errors create mediocre learning experiences for students and are unlikely to be reused by educators. That’s why a crucial step in creating an assignment is a Third-Party Audit.
Third-Party Audit
We call this stage a “student audit” because a great way to review an assignment is to have someone complete it as if they were a student, noting where they struggle. This third-party reviewer can be a graduate or PhD student, teaching assistant, or another professor.

stage 3: FEEDBACK

Create feedback once, enhance learning for thousands of students.

Video Walkthrough
All assignments include a pre-built walkthrough video of the solution. This is especially important for Experiential Assignments. If students get stuck on a DCF model, they often require a meeting with the professor. To save professors time and ensure great learning experience for students, we provide a video explanation of the assignment solution, which professors can share with their students. This 5-10 minute screen recording demonstrates how to solve the assignment using fictitious numbers, focusing on the methodology rather than the specific answers.

HAPPILY Ever after

Each month, we'll send you a share of the revenue, plus insightful data showing the beneficial impact you're making on professors & students across the world.
